The City Of Life – Ningbo

If you are looking to plan a trip to Ningbo soon then you are absolutely on the right page. I had visited the place recently and here I will be sharing my personal experience about the city. This city is located in north-east Zhejiang province. Its port is one of the busiest in the entire world and the entire city is very lively. Let us take a look at the other attractions of the city.

  • Tianyi Ge

It is a library and garden located in this city. It also happens to be the oldest library in China which consists of nearly 70,000 antique books. The place seemed quite interesting to me and the walls of this library are made in a special way which can prevent fire. It is also known as Tianyi Chamber.

  • Xikou-Tengtou Tourist Area

This is a famous tourist area where you can climb mountains which have fascinating stones, waterfalls, do rafting and experience other sports. I am an adventure lover so I personally loved this place a lot.

  • Tianfeng Pagoda

It is located at the center of the Ningbo city. This is hexagonal in shape and is considered as a landmark and the tallest ancient structure in Ningbo. It looks like a seven-storeyed tower and is renowned for its long history, architectural value and ancient artifacts. I found this place to be quite spiritually peaceful and would surely recommend a visit.

  • Chiang Kai Shek’s Former Residence

Chiang Kai Shek was a political, military and a former leader of the country of China. His residence in this city is considered as an important place of visit. You will get to see many of his personal things and records which are well-preserved and displayed so that the tourists can see them. A hall has been dedicated for the sole purpose of displaying the assets which belonged to him.
